Threadneedle Asset Management Limited "TAML"

Each of the members of the group is a long standing institutional investor in Sika AG. In light of the company's announcement of 8 December 2014, the members have, whilst each of them continue to be individually responsible and entitled as to the voting rights and economic benefit of their shares, agreed to cooperate on a case by case basis in their dialouge with the company and other constituents as well as in the exercise of their rights as shareholders. This update to the Form II notification made on 13th January 2015 is a voluntary disclosure by the group to identify that Cascade Investment, L.L.C., and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Trust, (together the third member of the group shown in Section 2) gained control of 3% of the total voting rights of Sika AG on 27th February 2015; there is no change in the composition or type of understanding of the group. Control of 42'502 voting rights (0.948% of total voting rights in the issuer) aggregated from funds managed by the three entities listed below. Threadneedle Asset Management Limited ("TAML") as Investment Manager for certain portfolios and investments schemes. Threadneedle Investment Services Limited as authorized fund manager for certain investment schemes. Threadneedle Management Luxembourg S.A. as authorized fund manager for certain investment schemes. Control of 33'316 voting rights (0.743% of total voting rights in the issuer) in funds managed by the entity listed below. FIL Limited("FIL")and its subsidiaries. FIL is aninvestment adviser which provides investment advisory and management services to a number of non-U.S. investment companies or instrument trusts (the "international Funds") and certain institutional investors. Control of 134'577 voting rights (3.001% of total voting rights in the issuer) in funds managed by the two entities listed below. Cascade Investment, L.L.C. is an entity wholly owned by William H. Gates III. William H. Gates III acting as co-trustee and settlor and Melinda French Gates acting as co-trusteee of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Trust.
